FAQWhy are your prices so low?
Firstly we manufacture our own lenses and perform our own frame glazing, this makes us more efficient than most opticians or on line optical retailers.
Secondly we have a retail store so already hold a stock of spectacle frames which we can sell on the web at a reduced cost as this is less time intensive.
Are your prescription glasses frames of inferior quality?
We sell the same products online as in our own store, the same products as will be found in many high street opticians.
What will I need to order prescription glasses from OneStopGlasses?
You will need an up to date prescription (less than 2 years old), Your P.D. measurement (see how to measure my P.D.) and a rough idea what size frame you need (see how to obtain frame sizes)
How do I get my glasses prescription details?
You will need to go to an Optician to have an eye test. The Optician is obliged by Law to provide you with an up to date glasses prescription which you can read clearly, and you should not feel under any pressure to buy glasses from the Optician where you had your test.
What if I don’t understand my glasses prescription?
Just copy the details onto the screen as they are written on your glasses prescription, if you wish you can either Post, Fax, or e.mail your prescription to us. It will be returned with your order.
I wear contact lenses, can I order glasses using my contact lens prescription?
No! your contact lens prescription is different from your glasses prescription.
Can I use my old glasses to place an order?
No! you must have an up to date glasses prescription (less than 2 years old) to order glasses from OneStopGlasses.
Can I send my own glasses frame to be reglazed?
Yes! Depending on the age and condition of the frame, Please e-mail your prescription details and type of frame for a quote.
What if I enter my glasses prescription details wrong?
You must notify us immediately because once your glasses have been glazed they cannot be altered.
What should I do if I cannot see with my new prescription glasses?
You will need to contact us straight away so we can determine the reason for this. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
Can I order glasses with no prescription?
Yes you will need to select No prescription on the prescription page.
Can I buy varifocals?
No we do not supply varifocal lenses as this is a very complex procedure and needs a personal fitting to make these lenses efficient. We do however supply Bifocal lenses.
When will I receive my prescription glasses?
Most orders will be completed within a few days.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for more complex orders.
How can I be sure my payment is secure?
We have the latest and most up to date secure payment system available, which is managed by HSBC Bank. Secure ePayments 128 bit SSL.
Do I have to pay over the internet?
Even though our site is very secure you can if you wish pay for your prescription glasses by cheque (please allow extra time for delivery to allow your cheque to be cleared).
Alternatively you can pay by card over the telephone.
Can I buy more than 1 pair of prescription glasses on one order?
Yes you can order as many pairs of prescription glasses as you wish, You can order more than 1 pair of the same frame or choose different frames. e.g. 1 pair of reading glasses and 1 pair of distance glasses or 1 with tinted lenses or transitions lenses any combination you wish. However many glasses frames you order you need only fill the prescription details in once.

How much are the delivery costs?
Delivery is £2.50 anywhere in the world.
